At The Plex, our mission is to nurture and advance the sport of roller hockey among youth by offering expert coaching within a supportive environment. We are dedicated to teaching essential skating and hockey skills, fostering a passion for the game from an early age. Through well-structured practices, competitive play, and a strong emphasis on teamwork and sportsmanship, we aim to prepare young athletes for success in roller hockey. Our goal is to cultivate a profound understanding and appreciation for the sport, ensuring a positive and enriching experience where every participant can thrive and achieve their hockey aspirations.

Learn to Skate

Get to know your wheels

The Learn to Skate for Free program provides first-time skaters with an exciting opportunity to experience the rink and learn how to skate at no cost. Learn-to-Skate session introduces participants to the fundamentals of skating, including how to sit and stand up on the rink, as well as basic marching and gliding techniques. Additionally, skaters will have the chance to meet and interact with our hockey training staff.

Learn to Play Hockey

Get to know the game

Learn to Play Hockey program offers first-time hockey players the chance to get on the rink in full hockey equipment for free. All participants will receive instruction on skating and hockey basics. Participants will be provided with equipment including helmet, shin guards, elbow pads, gloves, stick and jersey to use for the 8-week session.
